My name is Melissa McGinty owner and operator of 
"All About Dogs...Walking and Pet Care".

I have been working with all types animals and pets since I was a young child. Having at least one pet and usually two. I can't image my life with out pets. 

For Christmas 2005 my boys wanted a puppy.
We thought we were getting a 3 month old  toy poodle.
(He wasn’t) turns out he was very sick. Just after a day we knew something 
was wrong. Turns out he had a collapsed lung lobe and the antibiotics were 
not getting to the lung. After 4 months of in and out of the Veterinarians, 
IV's, feeding with a syringe and hiring baby sitters, pet sitters, missing work, and begging my nice neighbors to check on him.

Boomer is the reason......... 
I started thinking about becoming a Pet Care provider. 
I recognized a urgent need for affordable at home pet services in our community. 
Someone that customers could rely on for daily care and different situations. He is fine now, but very stressful.

Thanks to so many great friends and referrals I am able to pursue 
such a rewarding profession. I am so happy I decided to commit my self 
to pet care. I am looking forward to the growth of my business and serving 
even more of the Denver Metro area.

Most families in Colorado have at least one family pet some have two, 
What did they do with their family friends when they traveled or go out 
of town or go to work and have a sick pet at home that needs attention? 
I know as a pet owner my self I have been forced to cancel trips, 
Taking them with me was not always practical and it was expensive.

So many people I know have the same problems and wish they knew someone 
to call in these situations (often calling me for help).

I have spent a great deal of time educating myself reading non stop, 
taking all types of classes and obtaining certifications in Dog and Cat
first aid and Basic Dog training. Receiving PSI Accreditation in October 2008.
All of this has been very informative and helpful.

We are located in Littleton, Co and service SW Denver, Littleton and 
Highlands Ranch. Providing a safe, loving environment while you are away 
or taking your dog on a walk.
